Haemanthus coccineus has a wide distribution throughout South Africa and Namibia. Its laterally compressed bulb produces a pair of leaves which range from narrow and glabrous to broad and wide with spots at the base.
The one we are offering has dark green leaves streaked with purple marks underneath at their base.
Beautiful deep red inflorescence with spotted peduncle.
